An investment in a conservative real estate fund represents an investment in a number of valuable properties. These are tangible assets with an automatic inflation protection because rents can be adjusted with inflation (partly). House values ideally have a “real value-preservation”. This diversification within the fund leads to lower volatility in value and more stable returns than with the riskier asset classes.

In the Asset Allocation Analyzer this asset class is represented by an open property fund that invests in European real estate.
